SpellCheckExtender is an ASP.NET AJAX extender that can be attached to any ASP.NET TextBox or HtmlTextArea control.

Properties

Name Description
propertyClientID String. Gets the server control identifier generated by ASP.NET. (Inherited from Control.)
propertyGlobalCheck Bool. Gets or sets a value indicating whether to open one global popup for all targets.
Default false.

propertyID String. Gets or sets the programmatic identifier assigned to the server control. (Inherited from Control.)
propertyLeftMarker String. Gets or sets the left marker for wrapping the checking word in the target control.
Default "<=".
propertyOnClientBeforeShown String. Gets or sets the name of client-side function(handler) executed before the spell checker's popup is shown.
This handler is added to the client-side event beforeShown, see Client-Side.
propertyOnClientCheckFinished String. Gets or sets the name of client-side function(handler) called when spell checking is finished on all targets.
This handler is added to the client-side event checkFinished, see Client-Side.

propertyOnClientMoveToTarget String. Gets or sets the name of client-side function(handler) executed when the spell checker moves to some target element.
This handler is added to the client-side event moveToTarget, see Client-Side.
propertyOnClientShown String. Gets or sets the name of client-side function(handler) executed when the spell checker's popup is shown.
This handler is added to the client-side event shown, see Client-Side.
propertyPopupButtonID String. Gets or sets the ID of a control to initiate spell checking when clicked.
propertyPopupHolderID String. Gets or sets the associated Popup Holder ID.
propertyRelatedPopup Obout.Ajax.UI.HTMLEditor.Popups.Popup. Gets the related popup object.
It always returns an object of type Obout.Ajax.UI.HTMLEditor.Popups.SpellCheckPopup.
propertyRightMarker String. Gets or sets the right marker for wrapping the checking word in the target control.
Default "=>".
propertyStopOnCancel Bool. Gets or sets a value indicating whether to stop checking in client-side when the popup was canceled on one of the targets.
Default false.
propertyTargetControlID String. Gets or sets the ID of the control that the extender is associated with. (Inherited from ExtenderControl.)
propertyTargetControlIDs String. Gets or sets the comma separated ID's of the controls that the extender is associated with.
Use this property instead of TargetControlID when two or more targets are associated with the extender.
