Customize popup dialogue

Q:

For one of our product, we want to customize the obout editor popup.
Please see the following screenshot, we have highlighted the parts of the dialogue which we want to customize.

A:

Let's do it on example of the 'Spell checker' popup.
  1. Edit the Editor_data\ed_styles\special\popup.css file, it describes some common classes used for all popup windows.
    We should edit the 'header' class - add background color and remove background image:

    .header {padding:6px 8px;font-weight:bold;cursor:move;
    border-bottom:1px solid #A0A0A0; background-color: #00FFFF;} /* background color of the popup's header */

  2. Edit the Editor_data\ed_scripts\__spellCheck.aspx file, it is a template for the popup window.
    We'll change style of 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons - make rounded edges, add background color and remove background image:

    <tr>
    <
    td>
    <
    div class='box'>
    <
    div id='ok' style="border-radius:5px;background-color:#00FFFF;..."class='button'>
    <%= filler.Get("ok","OK") %></div>
    < /
    div>
    < /
    td>
    <
    td>
    <
    div class='box'>
    <
    div id='cancel' style="border-radius:5px;background-color:#00FFFF;..."class='button'>
    <%= filler.Get("cancel","Cancel") %></div>
    < /
    div>
    < /
    td>
    < /
    tr>

  3. Edit the Editor_data\ed_styles\style.css file.
    We'll change classes for this popup - add rounded edges:

    .popup_spellchecker
    {
        width: 490px;
        height:245px;
        border-radius: 10px;
    }
    .popup_spellchecker_ie
    {
        height:245px;
        border-radius: 10px;
    }
    .popup_spellchecker_safari
    {
        width: 490px;
        height:245px;
        border-radius: 10px;
    }

  4. Now we need to change the default image for the 'Close' button in the top right corner of the popup window.
    We can do it in the client-side only. We'll change the image just after Editor loaded, add the following code block into your page:

    <script type="text/javascript">
        function EditorOnLoad(editor) {
           // you can use any other URL
           editor._images_list[7] = "Editor_data/ed_icons/emoticons/angel.gif";
        }
    </script>

After all this changes we will see the following 'Spell checker' popup window:
